X Terra Elite

The Minelab X-Terra Elite is a high-performance, mid-range metal detector released as an evolution of the popular X-Terra Pro. While the Pro version uses switchable single frequencies, the Elite is powered by Minelab’s renowned Multi-IQ® technology, which allows it to operate on multiple frequencies simultaneously. This makes it significantly more effective in difficult, mineralized soils and saltwater.

Key Features & Technology

• Multi-IQ® (Simultaneous Multi-Frequency): This is the “brain” of the machine. It works like multiple detectors in one, hitting the ground with high and low frequencies at the same time to catch everything from tiny jewelry to deep silver coins.

• IP68 Waterproofing: The entire unit is fully submersible up to 5 meters (16 feet), making it an excellent choice for beach hunters, river exploration, or detecting in heavy rain.

• High-Resolution Target ID: Features a 119-segment ID system (Ferrous: -19 to 0 | Non-Ferrous: 1 to 99), providing much more precision in identifying targets compared to entry-level models.

• Iron Control: It offers advanced Iron Bias settings (-1 to 2) and a 25-level Iron Volume control, allowing you to “ignore” trashy iron signals while still hearing the “good” targets nearby.

• Collapsible Frame: The shaft collapses down to just 25 inches (63 cm), making it easy to fit into a standard backpack.

• Night Hunting Features: The unit includes a red backlight for the LCD, a backlit keypad, a built-in flashlight on the back of the control pod, and handgrip vibration for underwater use (so you can “feel” the target when you can’t hear the speaker).

• Coil Compatibility: Unlike some other series, the X-Terra Elite is compatible with all Equinox series coils, giving you a massive range of aftermarket sizes and shapes to choose from.
