Copper Strip

A Vastu Copper Strip is a specialized tool used in Vastu Shastra primarily to balance the Fire element (Agni Tattva) and correct directional defects without physical demolition. In the elemental cycle, Copper is the designated metal for the South and South-East zones.

Primary Uses & Placements

The copper strip is a “linear remedy” used to create energetic boundaries or activate specific zones:

• South-East (SE) & South (S) Corrections: Used to rectify imbalances in these zones, which govern cash flow, fame, and vitality.

• Toilet Blocking: If a toilet is located in the South-East or South, a copper strip is embedded in the floor around the toilet seat. This “cuts off” the negative drainage energy from the rest of the house.

• Entrance Correction: For main doors located in unfavorable South-East or South Padas (steps/divisions), the strip is installed across the threshold to filter incoming energy.

• Zone Separation: If a kitchen (Fire) and a bathroom (Water/Waste) are adjacent, a copper strip is used as a “virtual partition” to prevent energy clashes.

Installation Method

For the remedy to be effective, it should ideally be installed vertically into the floor:

1. Marking: Draw a straight line at the threshold or around the toilet.

2. Grooving: Use a tile cutter to make a thin, 1-inch deep groove in the flooring.

3. Insertion: Place the copper strip vertically into the groove. It is crucial to use a single continuous piece without any joints or breaks.

4. Sealing: Fill the groove with white cement or matching grout so the strip is flush with the floor.
